CURRENT SUGGESTIONS AS TO HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS
1. We persuade EMI not to sell
This is most probably the easiest solution but highly unlikely – they need a cash injection fast and allegedly have few other easily saleable assets. EMI hanging onto this important facility would be a solution, but whilst EMI is in the hands of venture capitalists it’s unlikely.
2. We ensure that any potential buyer keeps it running as a studio
This is more difficult, as the studio is probably worth more as a potential development than as a going concern. The aim here would be to find a buyer who understands the importance of the studios and the engineering excellence within.
3. We buy Abbey Road
We’re working on a way that this could happen – current suggestions involve either setting up a public limited company and selling shares in it, or setting up a charity. If anyone has any advice on either of these options or can help please get in touch!
Please note – we are NOT affiliated with the ‘Buy Abbey Road’ campaign – which is a cynical, unaccountable profit-making enterprise with no interest in saving the studios.

What a shame!I hope another Record Co will buy it (if sold)and NOT a real estate developer (just for the money!).
